New Challenges...and giveaway reminder!

Hi all!  I've some new cards to show you today and I'm really pleased with the way they have turned out because I have used a photo editing thing(!) to improve the presentation of them.

First up is this one, Merry Christmas, for the Clean and Simple Challenge #160.

Wow!  Don't you just love what the editing has done to the pic?  All snowy and frosty looking!  The stamp is MFT and the papers are, believe it or not, My Mind's Eye!  The sentiment is PTI Merry little Christmas.
Next up is this one, Thankful for you, for a total of three challenges -

And then finally, is this little tag/card for my friend who invited us up to her house for a birthday celebration.  It's for the Waltzing Mouse Stamps #67 challenge.

Unfortunately, the text is a bit wonky, but it's handmade and that means it doesn't have to be perfect!

In my last post, I asked you to mention if you like reading my Thought for the Week and if it helps or encourages you.  If you add a comment about this I will choose a random winner to receive a gift (haven't decided what yet, it'll be a surprise!).  I'll choose on sat 8 Oct 2011 by 12 noon.

Thanks for looking!

  1. You get a yum double yummy on that delicious apple tag! I just LOVE the lace at the top and the sweet patterned papers you chose. All of your projects are adorable, and make me want to go and buy some new lace trim! So glad you could play along with the Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge this week!

  2. LOVE your apple shaped tag! Wonderful colors and little details - and so true about handmade things - massproduced perfection isn't very fun!!!

  6. Love the mix of papers you used! So happy and fun!

  7. Thanks for your lovely comments. Keep going with the Copic's it does get easier I promise. Split your colours into sets of 3 or 4, for example I like to use E37,E35 E33 and E30 when colouring bears . E37 being the darkest. Another great source of information is Suzanna Dean on utube. Her tutorials are really good.

    Good luck
