Wishing you...all the very best

Today my card is for Mojo Monday Challenge 298. There is quite a bit of detail in this sketch but it suits perfectly for what I wanted. It took me ages to do, especially the chain and getting the bird and the cage lined up. The sentiment is tucked away in the bottom right hand corner.

Here is the sketch for inspiration.

Thank you for visiting today. Have a great weekend!

New home

Hello folks and a happy Friday to you!

Today my card is one that I made for a colleague in work whose friend is moving into a new home. There is very little stamping involved in this one; I used mostly dies and wooden embellishments. The sentiment is a digi stamp.

Thanks for popping by today!

For a wonderful dad...and hubby!

Hi folks! I really hope you are well this weekend.

Today my card is one that I made for my daughter to give to her dad for Father's Day (tomorrow here in UK). I have to say that, as far as fathers go, he definitely is one of the BEST! He is kind, unselfish, loving, thoughtful, helpful, generous, caring and best of all a wise, godly man. In fact, I sometimes tell him that when I am considering God's love to me, I know his love is just a small example of God's love, but it makes me realise just how great God's love is for people. (Don't worry about your dad seeing this, daughter dear, he never reads my blog!).

Thanks for popping by today.

Floral wreath

So, how are you all? Sorry for the absence but here I am with a quick post to show you a little wreath I made at the weekend. I was in Belfast shopping on Saturday with the ladies from my church and I took a little dander around Craftworld. I picked up this small flat-backed wreath for just 60p. So I wrapped my SU Old Olive ribbon all the way around it and then attached some mulberry flowers and some felt die cut flower shapes. Simples!

Thanks for looking today. I hope this turns out OK as I have done this on my iPad for the first time. It's taking a while to get used to the new app.
