Hello again, friends! I hope you are well.
Today I'd like to share a couple of cards that I made last night with my new 'goodies' from SU! I have to say that I love the quality of Stampin' Up! products and the way everything matches and makes crafting so much easier. I had left off being a demonstrator a couple of years ago because I wanted to try other products and some of them are great, of course! There are many fab companies out there, but I felt the difficulty for me was that I had so many different varieties of products and nothing really came together cleanly. So after a short absence I returned to SU! and am so much happier, because now I feel that my creativity is more focused instead of being here, there and everywhere. Also I find that I am actually not spending as much as I used to because I was so tempted to buy bits of everything from other companies and now I am sticking only to SU! and keeping within my spending limits while still getting fabulous products (and, of course, the privileges that being a demo brings).
So anyway, here are my two cards.
This first one was very quick and easy to do with the wonderful new Tape It stamp set! I love washi tape and have quite a few rolls of it in a few colours, but now with this set, I can have it any colour I want! I stamped and punched out the polka dot frame from Four Frames with the matching punch and then added the little Thank You sentiment from Lots of Thanks. I used Cool Caribbean, Whisper White and Basic Black ink and card.
I am entering this card into CAS(E) This Sketch #41 which finishes in a couple of hours...so be quick if you want to join in!
My second card is for the same sketch but I have incorporated the colours from the Fab Friday Challenge blog. I'm really into embossing at the minute so I was really pleased when I saw how well the white turned out on the Crumb Cake background. I used the Hearts a Flutter stamps and matching dies for this card and also the sentiment from Lots of Thanks. I am also entering this into the Allsorts Challenge to use new stash.
