CASE This Sketch with Colour Q

Hello friends. Sorry for the long absences between posts but I've been making wedding invitations. I'm nearly there! They are just made using neutral colours so I am very much looking forward to getting back to real colours again!

So, today's card has a bit of colour, not much though, just black, white and one other for the challenge at Colour Q...I've chosen SU's Lucky Limeade. Stamps are SU - GORGEOUS GRUNGE and CHALK TALK. Isn't this sentiment fabulous, perfect for some special people I know! I used my ink pad and blender pen to add highlights to the sentiment and then I sprinkled a few SU Candy Dots here and there!

I'm also entering this card into the challenge at CASE This Sketch.

Dynamic #70 & CAS(E) This Sketch #45

Hello folks!  I feel as though I haven't blogged for ages, although it's only just over a week since my last post.  I have been very busy recently making wedding invitations for a friend in work and they are coming together very nicely...but it's all hush, hush for now!

For the first time since I have blogged, I have to have a bit of a grumble...tell me, does this annoy you, or are you not bothered?  How many times have you taken the time to visit someone's blog and even more, have left them an encouraging comment, and they don't return the favour?  I have to say that most people do be kind and comment back but some don't ever.  I have a few followers who will post on their blogs that they are extra busy and will get to us eventually and they always do but there are some who never bother.  I think when people take the time to comment on other people's work it would be fair enough to expect a word or two back.  Maybe this is just me, what do you think?

Anyway, rant over and back to the card!
I took half an hour this afternoon to make a card for two challenges as the title suggests:
Dynamic Duos #70 (Pistacchio Pudding & So Saffron)
CAS(E) This Sketch #45 (see below...fab sketch!)

I don't know the name of the SU stamp set.

Rainbow colours with CAS(E) This Sketch

Hello folks.  Hasn't it turned autumnal very quickly?  I suppose we can't really complain because we actually had a summer this year, but you know us British, we always complain about the weather!!

Today my card is for two challenges:

The sketch is very pretty (I've turned it upside down) and as soon as I saw it I knew what stamp I wanted to use.  This stamp is so long retired I don't even know what it's called but I like it nevertheless.
CAS Colours and Sketches is asking for a rainbow themed colour scheme or at least to use five different colours.  My colours are not really "in your face rainbow colours" but soft, pastel shades - Calypso Coral, Crisp Cantaloupe, Baked Brown Sugar, Pistachio Pudding and Coastal Cabana.  I don't have the SU markers so I used my ink pads and a blender pen. I added a little heart from the SU Framelits Hearts die set and placed a few candy dots in the corner and one on the heart.  Designer papers are also SU.

Thanks for looking today.

Perfect Plum and Lucky Limeade

Hello there!  Sorry for not blogging for a couple of weeks but I'm back to work now and that means less time to craft!
Firstly, I'd like to let you know that my Online SU! store is now open for business and you can buy through me with the click of a button, anytime, day or night.  Just click on the SU! logo on the right of my blog and if you do decide to shop through me, I really appreciate your support, thank you!
I made this card for a friend of mine who had a close family bereavement recently.

The colours are Perfect Plum (stamped twice, hence the lighter shade) and Lucky Limeade and the stamps are a retired Sale-a-bration set along with the current Gifts of Kindness. I love the font of these sentiments, very modern and stylish.  The background paper is Lucky limeade too.

I am entering this card into the Dynamic Duos challenge #68, which I thought I'd missed but I'm just in time!
