Shaped card

Hello folks!
Today I have another card to share with you which I made for a friend who is retiring from teaching after many years.  I have to say she will be missed very much, but she deserves to have some time now for herself.

This is a very similar card to the other one I did for CAS - Colours and Sketches Challenge #80, just a different sentiment and different embellishments.

(All supplies are Stampin' Up! and available to buy through me)

Sympathy card

I made this sympathy card recently and wanted to share it with you.  I think the words on this card say how heartfelt the thoughts are.

I used the following Stampin' Up! supplies:

Top Note Bigz Die (113463)
Beautiful Wings Embosslits folder (118138)
Sweet Sorbet DSP

Extra Large Oval Punch (119859)
Summer Starfruit Cardstock and Ink (retiring on 30 June)
Whisper White Cardstock 106549)
Staz-on Jet Black Ink (101406)

Wedding card

Hello again friends!
Today I have a silver and white card to share with you that I made for a colleague who is getting married this summer.

Hi folks!
Tonight I have a quick post to share of one card which covers two challenges:

All products are Stampin' Up!

The little flower stamp is from a retired Hostess set, coloured with Pink Pirouette marker and the sentiment (love this font!) is from 'HOPEFUL THOUGHTS'.

Thanks for looking!

Need some help?

Good evening, dear friends!
I hope all is well with you; however if things are not going as you had planned or you are suffering in some way, then I hope the card I have to share with you this evening will be an encouragement to you.  A friend of mine had bought a card with this sentiment on it and she asked me to recreate some cards with the same sentiment, so here's what I came up with.

Sentiment: computer generated
Stampin' Up! - Paper, Cardstock, Window Framelits, Petite Petal Punch and Stamps, Inks - Daffodil Delight, Pool Party, Calypso Coral; Sizzlit Leafy Die (all supplies available to buy through me; please contact me if interested)

I also made a Pool Party version.
So I am entering this card into Challenge #135 over at Word Art Wednesday

Remember that you do not have to go through any trial alone when you are a child of the King!  For whatever strange reason, Christians often feel that they have to try and muddle through on their own strength first and finally go to the Lord when their options run out.  But no, it should always be the other way around.  We cannot depend on ourselves or even other people for the right answers - only the Lord can sort things out for us - so let's go to Him first.

God bless you this week!

Hi there, strangers!

Well, hello friends, long time, no see!
I really have been missing in action, haven't I? It's been quite a few months since I blogged, for a few personal reasons but I'm back again.  I know a couple of people have missed my blogging so a special hello to you!

Today I have a card that my mum asked me to make for her for a young couple who have just got engaged.  I love Stampin' Up! vellum (available in gold and silver) for special wedding and engagement cards.  Do you know, I've had this for quite a few months now and have only just realized that as well as circles and stripes there is a heart one as well?

For this card I have used (all Stampin' Up! unless otherwise stated):
Very Vanilla Cardstock
Gold Hearts Vellum
Gold foil cardstock
Expressions dies
Cream Lace (from a market in Spain!)

 Thought for the Week

Simple today...Love.  John 3:16 "For God so loved the world (that includes you) that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever (again, this means you) believeth in Him, should not perish but have everlasting life".

There is nothing more wonderful in this life than knowing that someone loves us.  This could be family or friends or even a little pet, but the greatest love we could ever know is that of a Heavenly Father who allowed His Son to take the punishment for our sins, when we deserved the punishment and He did not.
Thank God for this love and accept His free gift of salvation just now and you'll know a peace that passes all understanding.
