Hi friends. Today I'd like to share a card I have made for a godly wee couple from our church who are moving house to another town and so, leaving our congregation too. We wanted to thank them for their faithfulness in the church so I made this card, using the appropriate sentiment from the "Endless Thanks" stamp set. I am entering this into THE PAPER PLAYERS sketch #268 and THE COLOUR TREE colour inspiration #21.
Hi there, friends and followers. Today I have a couple of cards to share with you that I made for three challenges. Don't you just love the gorgeous autumn (or Fall, depending on whether you are UK or USA based!) colours at Colour Throwdown #362? They are warm, rich and comforting. Although in years gone by, I have struggled with the ending of the summer, with the prospect of a long, cold, hard winter ahead, this year I am being positive! I am actually looking forward to the crisp days of autumn with its beautiful colour scheme, followed by a winter of snuggling in fluffy jumpers and my warm Croc slippers (my children hate these!) with my little stove lit. Well, at least, that's how I feel at the minute. I'm trying not to even think about having to get out of a warm bed at 6.30 am on a December morning! I'll take each day as it comes and be thankful for whatever lies ahead!!
Good afternoon, friends and followers! I don't know what the weather is like where you are today, but here in Northern Ireland it seems our summer has finally arrived! It is beautifully sunny and warm, just like a summer day. Long may it last!
Today I have a card I'd like to share with you that I made, not for a challenge this time, but just because I needed a sympathy card. I'm really enjoying doing some watercolouring at present and find that the Stampin' Up! Ink pads and Ink refills are perfect for this...and of course, everything still matches, colour-wise! I liked the single word sympathy that comes from the TIN OF CARDS stamp set.
I admit I'm not the best artist in the world, but I enjoy the shaded effect that watercolouring gives. I suppose the more I practise the better I should get...that's the plan anyway!!

Hi folks! I'm finally back to making some cards after a bit of a break over the summer. I've missed being able to sit and craft occasionally, but other things have taken priority. I haven't managed to do a challenge for such a long time but here I am with two sketch challenges and two colour challenges.
This card was done for the challenges at Just Add Ink and ColourQ# 307. I'd forgotten I even still had Bravo Burgundy cardstock from a long time ago!
Hello friends and followers! I'm here today with a card that I made for three challenges - a sketch, colours and a theme. It all tied in very nicely for me. I decided to use watercolours for this card as I love the soft effect you get as they blend so well. However, I'm not overly happy with the photograph as I couldn't get just the right lighting.
Hi there! I'm just popping in with my latest creation! I love it, my new planner. Have you seen all the ideas for planners out there on the web...Pinterest, blogs, websites? The most common and favourite one seems to be the Erin Condren Planners which are not available here in the UK but can be purchased from USA. I hate paying for the huge postage from America so I thought I'd make my own version!!
I bought the Becky Higgins Project Planner Weekly Pages and Dividers here.
The only small thing that wasn't great was the fact that there are two holes punched for the album but you can hardly see those when your planner is made up. The pros outweigh the cons, for example, you can start your planner in the middle of the year. I started mine in May 2015 and it will go right through until next April.
The only other tool I needed to use was my Bind-it-All.
So, here are the pictures to show you what I did! I also added a couple of photo Pocket Pages, one at the front and one at the back. The one at the front has designer paper in it with some doodles but I can change this as and when I feel like it. The one at the back has a pile of stickers in it that I like to use as well as stamping in my planner! It's also great because it lies completely flat to make it easier to write in. (On pics 3 and 5 I have done some stamping, although not as much as on other pages).
Hi friends! Just popping in with a baby gift bag I made for a young couple in our church who had a sweet little baby girl recently. These bags are quick and easy because all you have to do is decorate them as you wish.
I also made a card for my mum who isn't in the best of health at the minute. She's a brave lady who always keeps positive! I had made the card for the Cardabilities challenge but didn't get it posted in time.
Thanks for stopping by today. Enjoy the rest of your weeekend!
Hi there! I'm just popping in on this wet, cold and wintry day to share a card I have made for three challenges. I have to say I am really disappointed with the quality of the photograph for this card but the card has already been given to its recipient so I can't retake it. I rushed outside to take it while the light was fading and it looks all blurry. What a pity, but you'll get the general idea of the card anyway!
There's a little green pearl on top of the butterfly which I coloured using my Old Olive Blendabilities.
Hi there! Today I have a birthday card that I made for my good friend in work, along with a gift that I wrapped using Stampin' Up! ribbon. I'm entering this card into the challenge at The Paper Players #240 by Joanne James which is to use these soon-to-retire colours (what a pity, I love these ones).
Hi folks! Just popping in with a quick card that I made for the challenge at Case This Sketch #118. I needed a pretty pink baby card so I was pleased with how this turned out. I embossed onto Pink Pirouette Cardstock with Versamark and SU White embossing powder, using the I Love Lace stamp. Hopefully you can see the tiny details. I was married in 1987 and I can remember clearly wearing a pair of white lacy tights just like this design - well, they were all the rage back then!!!
