Paper Players

Hi there! Today I have a birthday card that I made for my good friend in work, along with a gift that I wrapped using Stampin' Up! ribbon. I'm entering this card into the challenge at The Paper Players #240 by Joanne James which is to use these soon-to-retire colours (what a pity, I love these ones).

Baby Lace

Hi folks! Just popping in with a quick card that I made for the challenge at Case This Sketch #118. I needed a pretty pink baby card so I was pleased with how this turned out. I embossed onto Pink Pirouette Cardstock with Versamark and SU White embossing powder, using the I Love Lace stamp. Hopefully you can see the tiny details. I was married in 1987 and I can remember clearly wearing a pair of white lacy tights just like this design - well, they were all the rage back then!!!

Pink Retrosketch

Hello everyone and welcome especially to my newest follower! Lovely to have you on board with us.

My card today is one that I made for the challenge over at Retrosketches #159, not for anyone in particular but to have in my box, 'just in case'! I've been running around my house this past week with camera in hand and my cards that I've made, looking for the best place to photograph them! I think I've finally found the best spot ☺. This really was a nice and simple sketch and I'll probably use it again.

Hello butterflies!

Hello there and I hope you are enjoying a beautiful spring day like the one we have in Northern Ireland today! I've had a morning trip to the dentist (I get less fearful each time I go!), a nice lunch in one of my favourite restaurants and now I'm popping in to share this card I made. I used one of the butterfly stamps from Papillon Potpourri along with the matching punch and the sentiment from a Sale-a-bration set called Simply Wonderful.

I'm entering it into two challenges:

Hello folks! Yay, at long last, Spring seems to have arrived. I went out this morning in my winter clothes and huge snuggly coat to get a few bits and pieces and was far too warm so the coat had to come off! I'm afraid to get all my spring/summer clothes out yet though, just in case!!

So my card for today is one that covers FOUR challenges! They are:

Thanks for popping by today. Have a blessed Easter!

Dimensional punched flowers

Hi there! Tonight I have a card to show you that I made for my son to give to his nanny for her birthday. I am entering it into the Mod Squad Challenge for April which is to pick a line of ideas (Tic Tac Toe). I really like these challenges, they give you lots of inspiration to base your card on. I used the middle column - flowers, punch and dimension. I think I might have to make another couple of these!

All supplies are Stampin' Up! (except for the paper). I even made my own matching envelope using the Stampin' Up! Envelope punch board (love this!). I got the idea for this card in a box from Monica Gale here. I've made quite a few of these cards as they are easier to make than they look. Once you've made a couple of them you can make loads without even having to keep looking up the measurements and instructions. The girls in my work love them and get me to make personalized ones for them with photos, etc.
